Federal Police arrest (9) defendants, including those accused of terrorism in Baghdad

    The Federal Police announced, on Tuesday, that they were able to arrest (9) defendants, including those accused of terrorism, in Baghdad.
     
     “As part of the ongoing security efforts of the federal police units in implementing orders to arrest wanted persons and bring them to justice to receive their just punishment, which came with the support of intelligence effort detachments and security services operating within the sectors of responsibility, as the force was able to... From the Fifth Brigade, the Second Division, they arrested an accused wanted by the judiciary in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 of terrorism in the Sabaa al-Bour area/Sakit al-Ali village,” The Federal Police stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
     
    "The detachments of the same division were also able in the areas of (Saba al-Bour and al-Ghazaliyya) to execute judicial arrest warrants issued against (a man and a woman) on charges of (threatening), while the security effort of the mechanized division's units and the units attached to it resulted in the arrest of (6) defendants with legal materials that varied between (drugs, murder, breach of trust, and trespassing on agricultural lands), they came according to judicial arrest warrants and during the implementation of security practices within the areas of responsibility on the Karkh side of Baghdad within the areas of (Al-Salam, Al-Bayaa, Abu Dashir, and Alwa Al-Rasheed neighborhoods),” The statement added.
     
     
    "The accused were referred to the competent authorities to complete the necessary legal and investigative procedures against them,” It noted.
