Haider Mohammed Makiya, the chairman of the National Investment Commission, stated on Monday that the government gives achieving economic development with different advanced states particular attention.
In a statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the Commission stated that "the development of joint economic relations was discussed during the meeting between Haider Muhammad Makiya, Chairman of the National Investment Commission, and Zubaydzoda Zubaydullo, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan, who was received today in Baghdad."
"The government pays special attention to achieving economic development with various developed countries, and providing the pillars of the local investment environment that attracts sober international companies," emphasized the Authority's Chairman.
As Makiya put it, "the authority is working towards developing the reality of its indicators in strategic projects towards the residential, industrial, agricultural, renewable energy and other sectors in its investment map."
The Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan, Zubaydzoda Zubaydullo, expressed his country's readiness to collaborate and arrange joint work programs between Baghdad and Dushanbe, and praised "the role of the National Investment Commission in moving national investment towards international tracks, and activating trade and economic relations."
