INA - BAGHDAD Daesh terrorist groups in Syria won’t threaten the Iraqi-Syrian border crossings or the Iraqi lands, stated the Ministry of Defence spokesman, Tahseen al-Khafaji on Thursday. “The Iraqi forces are spread along the border crossings from al-Qaem up to Mosul city,” added al-Khafaji. He explained that earthen berms equipped by thermal cameras were erected along the crossings and Daesh members won’t be able to process any terrorist attack due to this extensive monitoring. “There are mutual military logistic plans with Syria and Turkey to foil the terrorist attacks,” said al-Khafaji.
