Croatian Luka Modric, Real Madrid midfielder, received an offer to return to one of the clubs for which he previously defended.
Modric's contract with Merengue expires next summer, so many reports stated that the two parties do not plan to discuss an extension for another season.
According to the Spanish newspaper "AS", Modric has received an offer to return to his former club, Dinamo Zagreb, Croatia, next summer.
The newspaper revealed that Mirko Barisic, president of Dinamo Zagreb, personally contacted Modric and informed him that he was waiting for his return if he wanted to at the end of the season.
"AS" explained that Modric left the door open to his former club, as he did not reject the offer, although he did not accept it either.
"AS" also stated that playing for Dinamo Zagreb would be an option for Modric, in addition to the Saudi and American leagues next summer.
In addition to that, "AS" indicated that this is not the first contact between Barisic and Modric this season, but the president of Dinamo Zagreb maintains frequent contacts with the Croatian star and his representatives, since his minutes of participation in Carlo Ancelotti's team have decreased.
