Real Madrid are set to reward forward, Vinicius Junior, with a new mega-contract following the Brazilian’s superb contributions to the club’s success in the last few seasons.
The 22-year-old forward, who has risen to be a key player for Real Madrid, has been negotiating a new deal with the Spanish giants with his current contract set to expire in the summer of 2024.
According to Football Espana, Real Madrid has now offered Vinicius a five-year extension and has included a €1 billion release clause in the new deal for the star.
The Brazilian forward, who will rise to become Los Blancos’ top earner, will also get a bonus if the 22-year-old wins the Ballon d'Or while at the Spanish capital.
Vinicius, who scored a total of 17 goals last season, is expected to sign the new five-year deal before the end of the week that will keep him at Real Madrid until 2028.
