The President of the Republic receives Babylon Governor

The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid stressed ,on Sunday ,that the next stage is the completion of the construction phase, achieving achievements and providing services, while stressing the need of communication and cooperation between the official and The Citizen.

A statement from the Presidency of the Republic, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said " The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, received today at the Baghdad Palace, the Governor of Babylon, Adnan Faihan" indicating that "Rashid handed over at the beginning of the meeting, to the governor the Republican decree appointing him governor of Babylon, and the president congratulated the governor Faihan on the occasion of assuming his new position, and expressed his wishes for success in his work ”.

The President of the Republic stressed that "Babylon governorate needs special attention in a manner commensurate with its ancient historical and civilized status" stressing "the need to pay attention to improving the services provided to visitors and tourists who flock to the province from various countries” according to the statement.

He noted "The next stage is to complete the construction phase, achieve achievements, provide services and consolidate security and stability in the country".

He pointed to" the need to build communication and cooperation between the official and The Citizen, meet his legitimate demands, and overcome the obstacles he faces when reviewing Government departments and institutions "stressing that "serving the citizen and touching his needs is a noble goal pursued by the government”.

For his part, “The Governor gave a summary of his "future plans to improve the security, economic and agricultural conditions of the governorate, in addition to facing water scarcity, drought and its serious repercussions on the lives of citizens .The Governor also reviewed the program that has been prepared to promote the reality of services and the completion of unfinished projects and rehabilitation of infrastructure to complete the development and construction process in the country "the statement added.
