The Darbandikhan Dam's water levels have risen, as reported by the Ministry of Water Resources this Friday.
"The rains on Thursday were concentrated in the northern regions, the eastern border with Iran, and the areas of Khanaqin, Mandali, and Qazaniya," Thubaan Jari, the director of the Hamrin Dam, said to the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
He continued, saying that "the Darbandikhan dam's water levels reached 450 cubic meters per second today," adding that "the Diyala province's lands and orchards benefit from this water entering the dam's reservoir."
In order to determine its levels, "Lake Hamrin is waiting for water to arrive in the coming hours," he stated.
