Wasit Provincial Council votes for Ali Salmon as chairman

Wasit Provincial Council decided on Monday to elect Mohammed Al-Mayahi as governor and Ali Salmon as chairman. 
 
"Today marked the first session of the Wasit Provincial Council," the Iraqi News Agency (INA) reporter said.
 
"The council voted on Mohammed Al-Mayahi as governor, and Ali Salmon as chairman of the council," added the INA reporter.
