As the delegation of the Ministry of Youth and Sports conducted a field visit to witness the reality of work in the stadium, which can accommodate 30,000 spectators, under the supervision of Al-Qasas Trading and General Contracting Company Ltd. and the Turkish Ozinlar Company, the executing company of the Mosul Olympic Stadium continues to witness a clear progress rate of up to 60%.

In a statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), Abdul Khaliq Khader Al-Khafaji, the Director General of the Department of Engineering and Technical Affairs, stated: "The repeated visits to the strategic projects implemented by the ministry are a message of support and follow-up to the stages of work, solving all engineering problems related to them, and developing the necessary solutions, including the Mosul Olympic Stadium, and seeking to complete it during this year to be an important addition to other stadiums that host local and international matches, under the direct guidance of the Minister of Youth Ahmed Al-Mubarqa."
