Iraq , Turkey agree to open offices to follow up the implementation of development road

    Transport Minister Razzaq Muhaybis al-Saadawi agreed ,on Friday ,with his Turkish counterpart Abdulkadir Uraloğlu to open offices to follow up on the implementation of the development route in Baghdad and Ankara.

    "The Ministers agreed to open offices to follow up on the implementation of the development route in both Baghdad and Ankara", noting that "Al-Saadawi stressed that international companies are anticipating promising investment opportunities in the development route project, and Iraq is serious about fulfilling all the requirements of the project" according to the Ministry statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA ).

    The statement noted that "the Turkish Transport Minister priced Al-Saadawi initiatives in the air transport sector between the two countries", calling on "Iraq to increase the number of Turkish flights to Iraq".

    "Al-Saadawi called the Turkish side to facilitate the procedures for granting visas to Iraqis and opening offices for granting them at airports "the statement added.


    On Friday, Transport Minister Razzaq Muhaybis al-Saadawi  discussed with his Turkish counterpart the technical details of the development road project.
     
    The Iraqi Embassy in Ankara stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that " Transport Minister Razzaq Muhaybis al-Saadawi  met his Turkish counterpart Abdulkadir Uraloğlu in Ankara and discussed with him the technical details of the development road project."
     
    "The two sides reviewed the project's completion ratios" the statement added.
