Today, Wednesday, Baghdad Municipality announced the start of the preparatory meeting for the 61st Executive Council of the Arab cities Organization, which will be held in Baghdad under the patronage of the Prime Minister and with the participation of 15 countries.
A statement from the secretariat received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said: “The Mayor of Baghdad, Amar Musa Kadhim, confirmed that holding this conference in the capital, Baghdad, under the auspices of the Prime Minister, is evidence of the return of normal relations between Iraq and its Arab brothers, and that the meetings of this session will produce results and recommendations that serve the reality of our Arab cities in service, architecture and urban areas.
According to the statement, "The 61st meeting of the Arab Cities Organization, which was held today between the organization and the Baghdad Municipality, discussed the reports of the institutions affiliated with the organization and preparations for the main meeting that will be held tomorrow, Thursday, in Baghdad under the slogan (Flexible Cities, Sustainable Future) under the auspices of the Prime Minister."
