Capturing a Man charged with murder of one tribal sheikhs, FIIA reports

The Federal Investigation and Intelligence Agency -FIIA on Tuesday, reported capturing the killer who kidnapped a clan elder and burned his wheel in Maysan governorate.

"The continuous follow-up by FIIA detachments to search and investigate the murder crime of a clan elder who was kidnapped by unknown persons in Maysan Governorate earlier, resulted in carrying out a qualitative operation based on accurate intelligence information by FIIA detachments (Falcons Intelligence Cell) in Maysan, during which the killer was arrested as he frankly admitted that he had kidnapped the sheikh, killed him, and hidden his body, and evidence was conducted to determine the location of the body and exhume it", stated FIIA in a statement,

received by The Iraqi News Agency-INA.

"The accused's statements were recorded and he was referred to the competent authorities to receive his just punishment," the statement added.
