Justice Minister, Anbar Court of Appeal’s President discuss jails and correctional facilities

Anbar Court of Appeal President Judge Abdullah Mohammed and Justice Minister Khaled Shawani talked on Wednesday about matters pertaining to prisons and correctional facilities.

According to a statement from the Supreme Judicial Council obtained by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "Judge Abdullah Mohammed, President of the Anbar Court of Appeal, received Justice Minister Khaled Shawani, with the attendance of Anbar prosecutor, the governor of Anbar, and the directors of the judicial departments."

The statement went on to say that "the two parties discussed some issues related to correctional facilities and prisons."

Thanking the judiciary for its efforts and his ministry's attempt to put judicial decisions into effect, the minister of justice made a point of saying.
