Minister of Transport reveals the completion rates for the development road designs

The Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhaibes Al-Saadawi, revealed today, Sunday, the completion rates in the designs of the development road and the three basic components, while stressing that there will be no conflict between Al-Faw Port and the ports of the region, but rather there will be economic integration between them, noting at the same time the existence of joint committees with neighborhood countries to complete the project steps leading to holding an international conference.
 
 
Al-Saadawi told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “The development road is a major international strategic project that achieves economic integration for the region and thus get great attention from neighboring countries, regional countries and Europe because it is an excellent economic link between the East and the West and between the Gulf region and China and some regional countries, as well as Australia, passing through, Iraq, then Turkey, then from there to Europe, and vice versa, also from Europe to the Gulf region, Iran, and neighboring countries, and therefore these countries are very interested in the path of development.”
He added, "There are discussions between Iraq and neighboring countries, China and European countries in order to participate in this project, and at the forefront of these interested countries are Turkey, Iran, the Emirates and Qatar, and there are joint technical committees formed by Iraq to discuss with these countries the technical aspects of the project and the necessity of conforming to the specifications." We are waiting for an international conference in the coming period.”
