The Charge d'Affairs of the Iraqi Embassy in Libya, Ahmed Al-Sahhaf, announced today, Friday, the exception of the Iraqi community in Libya from passport transaction fees.
Al-Sahhaf said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “Tomorrow, Saturday, work will be launched on the passport system at the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Libya, with the participation of a delegation from the Ministry of Interior, which is the first of its kind in twenty years.”
He added, "The Iraqi community in Libya has been excluded from collecting passport processing fees, which amount to 250,000 Iraqi dinars."
