Foreign Minister and his Omani counterpart stress the importance of restraint and not expanding the circle of conflict

    Today, Friday, Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein and his counterpart, Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman, Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, stressed the importance of restraint and not expanding the circle of conflict in the region.
     
     
    A statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said: “Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein made a phone call with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi.”
    The statement added, "During the call, the two sides discussed the dangerous escalation in the Red Sea region and Yemen, and stressed the importance of restraint and not expanding the circle of conflict in the region, and going to address its causes, starting with stopping the Zionist aggression and the siege imposed on the Gaza Strip."
