Al-Shammari: March 1st set for adopting the National ID card as the only official document

Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, the Interior Minister, declared on Wednesday the date of adopting the national identity card as the only official document.
"The date of the first of March 2024, will be the date for the adoption of the National card, the only official document," stated Al-Shammari, who was present at the Directorate of Citizenship and Passports' annual briefing announcement, which was attended by the Iraqi News Agency's reporter.
