Samarra University announced on Tuesday, registration in the Green Matric classification, which specializes in the green environment, while indicating the formation of specialized committees to achieve the requirements for joining the international classifications.
“The University of Samarra has joined many important international classifications,” indicating that “the Green Matric classification is concerned with the green environment and the standards adopted by the classification, which is the extent of the universities interest in the green environment,” The President of the University of Samarra, Sabah Allawi Al-Samarrai, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
"The university was able to register its name in this classification during the current year, despite the standards and classification requirements that require an exceptional effort,” He explained.
"The efforts of the University of Samarra to register its name in the important classifications," he pointed to "there are many specialized committees at the university whose mission is to achieve the international standards required by the quality of higher education."
