Iraq and Azerbaijan sign memorandums of understanding in a number of fields

Iraq and Azerbaijan signed today, Thursday, memorandums of understanding in a number of fields to enhance economic and trade relations between the two countries.

A statement from the Ministry of Communications received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said: “Minister of Communications Hiyam Al-Yasiri concluded the work of the third session of the Iraqi-Azerbaijani joint committee in the presence of the Azerbaijani Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev, which culminated in the signing of the minutes of the joint committee, which included cooperation in the economic, scientific and technical fields.” culture, youth, sports and tourism.”.

The statement added, “On the sidelines of the committee’s work, memorandums of understanding in the field of communications and information technology were signed between the Iraqi Ministry of Communications and the Azerbaijani Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, in addition to the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Media and Communications Authority and its Azerbaijani counterpart, and the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Federation of Iraqi Industries and the Development Agency.”.
