Iraqi students achieved the title of champion of the International Mental Arithmetic Competition for the third time in a row.
The Ministry of Education said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “Iraqi students snatched for the third time in a row the title of champion of the international mental arithmetic competition held in the United Arab Emirates for all levels and age groups after competing with 500 contestants from 19 Arab and foreign countries.” Indicating, “25 students won the first three places.”.
The Minister of Education, Ibrahim Namis Al-Jubouri, congratulated “the winners, the student Al-Khattab Omar and the student Rahaf Saddam, for obtaining the championship title for the third time,” stressing, “the Ministry’s support for scientific and creative energies.”.
He thanked "the efforts of the people and the Raghad Center for Mental Abilities Development, the sponsor of the participating teams, and the supporting parties to hone these talents."
