Al-Sudani Receives Azerbaijani Ambassador to Iraq

Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, received the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Iraq, Mr. Nasir Mammadov.
 
The meeting focused on discussions on bilateral relations between the two countries, exploring avenues to strengthen collaboration across various fields and sectors. Additionally, the upcoming third round of the Iraqi-Azerbaijani Joint Committee, scheduled for Wednesday, was discussed, with a focus on the potential understandings that could emerge to benefit the two friendly nations.
 
Ambassador Mammadov expressed the Azerbaijani government's interest in participating in development and reconstruction projects following Iraq's presentation of promising investment opportunities, this aims to strengthen the economic partnership between Iraq and the region.
The discussion also underscored the importance of providing support for Azerbaijani visitors of the holy shrines, and Iraqis visiting Azerbaijan.
