Al-Sudani directs celebrating the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People

Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani directed official institutions to celebrate the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.

The Cabinet’s General Secretariat said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency INA, that " Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, directed all official institutions to celebrate the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People on Wednesday, 29^th of November 2023, coinciding with the United Nations General Assembly resolution (32/40 B) of 1977."

Al-Sudani affirmed earlier the necessity to cease the arbitrary practices of the occupation authorities against unarmed civilians in Gaza.

He also urged all countries worldwide “to put an end to the suffering resulting from the recent aggression.”
