Al-Sudani Accepts Resignation of Nineveh Governor

Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani has accepted the resignation of the Governor of Nineveh, Najim Abdullah Al-Jubouri. 

The Prime Minister's Media Office said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA),"This follows Al-Jubouri's resignation after the Council of Representatives rejected the Council of Ministers' recommendation on October 17, excluding him from accountability and justice procedures under Article 12 of the National Accountability and Justice Authority Law No. 10 of 2010. "

Prime Minister Al-Sudani," during his meeting with Al-Jubouri, expressed gratitude for the efforts made during his tenure in performing executive duties over the past years."
