The governor of Nineveh, Najim al-Jubouri, set on Saturday, the date for resolving the bridges and hospitals file in Mosul.
"The file of the Al-Kayara, Badoush, Al-Huriya and the old bridges will be resolved in the city of Mosul within months," said Al-Jubouri in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), noting that "work is still going on at Al-Kuweer Bridge,"
He added, "It is hoped that the ongoing works will be completed in the coming months on the fourth bridge, while the fifth bridge has been transferred to an Egyptian company," and that "a fixed bridge is currently being constructed in the city of Mosul,"
Al-Jubouri pointed out that "there are bridges planned to be built in the future, namely the sixth and seventh bridges in order to facilitate passage within the city of Mosul, and to facilitate the movement of trade between Iraq, Turkey and Europe," stressing that "after the completion of the third bridge and Badoush Bridge, trucks can no longer enter Mosul and cause traffic jams, "
On the other hand, the Governor of Nineveh stated, "The Republican Hospital and Al-Khansa Hospital will be referred to the Kuwaiti loan for the purpose of rebuilding them, while Mosul Airport will be referred to the French loan for completion,"
