The Presidency of the Republic announced, on Monday, that President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid’s visit to Azerbaijan will witness the signing of bilateral agreements in multiple fields.
The presidency said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "official reception ceremonies took place for the President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, today, in the Azerbaijani capital, Baku."
The statement added that " Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev, received Iraqi President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid at the Zogulba Presidential Palace in Baku," noting that "the national anthems of the two countries were played, after which the two presidents accompanied the delegations of the two countries."
"During the visit, the President of the Republic will hold bilateral discussions with President Aliyev, focusing on bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to develop them," explaining that "bilateral agreements will be signed in multiple fields."
