Our national team achieved victory over its Indonesian counterpart, by five goals to one, in opening its campaign in the 2026 World Cup and 2027 Asian Nations qualifiers.
The goals of our national team in the match that took place on the field of the trunk of the Palm Stadium in Basra came from the feet of Bashar Resan in the 19th minute, Jordi Amat an own goal in the 35th minute, Osama Rashid in the 61st minute, Youssef Al-Amin in the 81st minute, and finally Ali Al Hammadi in the minute (89).
