Casas summons 25 players to face Indonesia and Vietnam

The technical staff of the national team announced today, Friday, the summoning of 25 players to face the national teams of Indonesia and Vietnam in the double qualifiers for the finals of the 2026 World Cup and the 2027 Asian Cup.

The Football Association said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), “The list included Jalal Hassan, Fahd Talib, Ahmed Basil, France Boutros, Saad Natiq, Ali Adnan, Rebin Sulaqa, Hussein Ali, Mustafa Saadoun, Ahmed Yahya, and Mirkhas Dosky, Amjad Atwan, Ahmed Ali, Osama Rashid, Amir Al-Ammari, Ibrahim Bayesh, Hassan Abdul Karim, Danilo Al-Saad, Youssef Amin, Bashar Rassan, Ali Jassim, Ayman Hussein, Ali Al-Hammadi, Muhannad Ali and Bashang Abdullah.”.

He added, "It is hoped that the national team delegation will leave for Basra next Sunday evening, and with the professional players joining in the coming days (Sunday and Tuesday), according to their match schedule, their commitments with their clubs, and the itinerary of their flights that have been secured in arriving to Basra.".

It is reported that "our national team will face Indonesia at Basra International Stadium on 11/16, and then head to Hanoi to face Vietnam on 11/21."
