Al-Kaabi announces launching Baghdad Monorail project

    INA - BAGHDAD The First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Hassan al-Kaabi asserted the importance of providing necessary daily services for people. "I also call on the concerned committees to apply the project of the Momorail in a short time," said al-Kaabi. This came during a conference held on Sunday, regarding the project that is supported by French and North Korean companies and sponsored by the municipality of Baghdad. Al-Kaabi also met the French ambassador to Iraq, Bruno Obier and discussed the means to apply the project soon. "This project will save time and efforts as it will end the traffic jams in the city," added al-Kaabi.
