Iraq participated on Monday, in the Web Summit on digital transformation and artificial intelligence in Portugal.
“Iraqi participation in the summit comes to gain more experience and skills related to digital transformation and artificial intelligence, which are among the most important technological features in the future," said the head of the electronic communication team in the Prime Minister’s Office, Ammar Moneim, Iraq’s representative at the summit, to the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
He added, "Iraq has the desire to create a scientific and practical base in this field in order to invest in digital transformation and artificial intelligence in various areas of development as to serve the interest of the country," noting that "Iraq is on track to hold an Arab conference and competition in this field, as well as in the field of content makers and bloggers.”
Web Summit has been held annually in Portugal since its launch in 2009 and hosts experts and specialists to discuss the latest findings of research and technologies in these fields.
