Military intelligence arrests 34 accused of various legal cases in five provinces

The Directorate of Military Intelligence announced on Sunday,  the arrest of 34 accused in various legal cases in five governorates.

In a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the Directorate said that "it is with separate proactive duties and efforts and based on accurate intelligence of the Maritime Intelligence Directorate and the divisions of leadership. (6, 7, 10, 11, 16 and 17) of the Military Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, in cooperation with the land-trapping forces, and through court ambushes in various provincial areas (Baghdad, Basra, Kirkuk, Nineveh and Anbar), resulted in the arrest of two members of the ISIS terrorist gangs in Al-Saqqar's control in Fallujah district and (32) accused of various legal issues in Al-Qaim, Fallujah, Abu Gharib, Tarmiya, Mosul, Yusufiyah, Nahiyat Bath Al-Alil and Umm Qasr districts."

The statement added, "They were handed over to the relevant authorities according to the applicable legal contexts."
