Ministry of Transportation announced on Sunday, resuming direct flights to transport passengers between Iraq and Denmark.
A statement by the ministry received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA ) said that "Direct flights to transport passengers between Iraq and Denmark resumed within a flight route that included Baghdad Najaf Copenhagen", indicating that "this is the second destination to Europe after Berlin, which was used by Iraqi Airways in a joint operating manner".
The statement pointed out that "the re-operation of this vital line came based on the directives of the minister of Transport Razzaq Muhaibas Al-Saadawi, which aims to expand the company's destinations in line with the desire of travelers".
It also added that "Iraqi Airways scheduled two flights weekly every Sunday and Wednesday as part of an operating plan built on the basis of increasing demand for this sector".
