The Ministry of Electricity expressed, today, Friday, its support for the import of electric cars, while confirming its readiness to implement its obligations to provide charging stations.
Ministry spokesman, Ahmed Musa, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), “Purchasing electrically operated cars is supposed to have special charging stations in front of them.”.
Moussa added, “As far as the entity responsible for importing this type of car is concerned, the doors of the Ministry of Electricity are open for opinions and coordination for shipping them according to the ministry’s jurisdiction.”.
He stressed that "the Ministry of Electricity will support such trends and will fulfill its obligations."
