Iraq participates in UN conference on the treatment of War Remnants

Ministry of Defense announced on Wednesday, that a delegation from Iraq participated in the United Nations conference on the treatment of War Remnants and explosive materials.
 
A statement from the ministry received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said that "A delegation from the Republic of Iraq, headed by Lieutenant General Hatem Al-Maksusi, participated in the United Nations conference on the treatment of War Remnants and explosive materials to assist in disinfection operations and help victims to get rid of the contamination of wars and terrorist acts”.
 
The statement added that "the number of countries participating in the UN Conference has reached 85".
