Al-Mandalawi Receives the Delegation of The National Paralympic Committee

First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi said on, Sunday, that the achievement of the National Paralympic Committee is proud of every Iraqi.
 
Media Office of the First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives said in a statement received by the Iraqi news agency (INA) that " Al-Mandlawi Received the delegation of the National Paralympic Committee headed by Aqil Odeh, the chairman of the committee, and farset Chaly, the head of the mission, and the sports champions winning colorful medals at the Asian Games held in China, in the presence of a number of Deputies (Aqil Fatlawi, Mohsen Shao, Adel Al-Rikabi, Amang Herki).
 
Al-Mandalawi stressed that " Iraq won 14 colorful medals at the Asian Paralympic Games held in Hanzhou, China, a great achievement that every Iraqi is proud of ", noting that "the House of Representatives supports these heroes who raised the name of Iraq high, and that these athletes are a pride for the homeland, and all parties should honor and support them for their extraordinary achievement”, the statement added.
 
“During the meeting, the athletes were honored and praised for what they have done in the Championship, and also listened to the problems and obstacles facing them, the most prominent of which was that the unified sports law should take into account the conditions of the Paralympic Committee”, Al-Mandalawi directed “the parliamentary youth and sports committee to follow up the law and include opinions that meet the aspirations of athletes, as well as increasing the financial allocations to the Paralympic Committee in the general budget, and other needs that he pledged to follow up and address with the concerned authorities”, the statement added.
