INSS arrests a forger embezzled more than (7) billion dinars

The National Security Service-INSS announced on Saturday, the capture of a forger who embezzled more than 7 billion dinars.
 
"In one qualitative operation, the detachments of INSS in Kirkuk governorate captured a senior forger in the governorate after forging and embezzling more than 7 billion dinars, “stated INSS in a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency-INA.
 
The statement added, "The aforementioned accused forged many seals, bonds, and official papers in coordination with an employee at the Real Estate Bank and a lawyer. He was able to forge judicial decisions and bonds issued by the Real Estate Registry and send them outside Iraq to withdraw funds, in addition to forging the seals and signatures of a group of judges and local police commanders, accountants, and many important official documents and papers.”
 
"the arrest operation came in accordance with a judicial arrest warrant after our detachments carried out a follow-up and surveillance operation against the accused that lasted for two weeks, followed by an elaborate ambush that took him down red-handed, and he was presented to the judicial authorities to take the necessary measures against him," the statement continued.
