INA – BAGHDAD Iraqi Security Forces pushed back terrorists 5 KM away from Iraq-Syrian border crossing to the Syrian areas on Friday. “Iraqi Air strikes targeted Baguz area, Syria where Daesh terrorist groups were locating,” Brigade Qasim Muhammed, al-Jazeera Ops commander said to INA. He also explained that the airstrikes were followed by missile attacks for all day long that helped to achieve this operation. The Joint forces of al-Jazeera Ops, al-Badiya, Border Crossings Forces and PMUs aided the operation to prevent accessing terrorist into the Iraqi lands. “Syria is fully aware of these attacks and agrees in order to end the terrorism in the region,” added brigade Muhammed.
