Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani expressed his appreciation today, Thursday, for the position of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in donating its headquarters to Kirkuk University.
The official spokesman for the government, Bassem Al-Awadi, said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “The government welcomes the initiative of the Kurdistan Democratic Party to donate the party’s headquarters in Kirkuk, which is occupied by the controlling headquarters in the province, to Kirkuk University.”.
He added, "The Prime Minister reaffirmed the government's keenness to sustain security, coexistence, and brotherhood in Kirkuk.".
He continued, "At a time when the Prime Minister appreciates this wise initiative, he reaffirms the government's keenness to sustain security, coexistence, and brotherhood in Kirkuk, and the rest of the governorates of Iraq, in commitment to its government program, and in application of the rule of law, for the sake of a prosperous Iraq in which all its citizens enjoy security and peace.".
