Popular Mobilization Forces PMF launched Sunday, the campaign (Iraqi Support for Al-Aqsa) to send humanitarian aid to Gaza.
Ghaleb Al-Husseini, assistant director of social relations and services in PMF, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "The initiative of the (Iraqi Support for Al-Aqsa) campaign to send humanitarian aid to Gaza is part of a committee formed in the Prime Minister's Office and a group of Iraqi institutions," noting that “ PMF is part of this committee, which came based on previous experiences it has performed in relief work."
He added that "the committee has started its work and has more than 15 outlets spread in all provinces of Iraq to receive donations from Iraqis," noting that "there is joint coordination with the societies of the Iraqi, Egyptian and Palestinian Red Crescent to deliver relief and food aid to Gaza."
