Rasoul announces the preparation of large quantities of aid to be sent to Palestinian

    INA-  BAGHDAD

    The spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yahya Rasoul, confirmed today, Friday, the preparation of large quantities of humanitarian aid to be sent to the Palestinian people in the besieged Gaza Strip as part of the “Iraqi Local support to Al-Aqsa” campaign. 

    Major General Rasool told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “With the grace of God Almighty and the determination of the Iraqi people and their interaction with the suffering of the brothers in Palestine, the committee formed under the direction of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces received quantities of aid and donations for the Palestinian people in the besieged Gaza Strip as part of a campaign called The name is (Iraqi Local support to Al-Aqsa). 

    He added, "Humanitarian aid and donations have arrived through citizens, companies, and organizations, and now we have large quantities of aid ready to be sent through the Iraqi Red Crescent. There is continuous coordination with the Egyptian authorities to send these donations through the Rafah crossing, and they will be sent during the coming period.".

    On October 14, the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces announced the direct receipt of donations and humanitarian aid to the brotherly Palestinian people.

    The spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief, Major General Rasool, said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “This step comes in implementation of the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, regarding the formation of a joint committee to deliver donations and humanitarian aid to the brotherly Palestinian people besieged in Gaza, and this campaign came under the title (Iraqi Local support Al-Aqsa).”
    He pointed out, "The reception centers for citizens for the purpose of receiving aid will be as follows:

    The first - the headquarters of the Air Defense Command, Abbas bin Firnas.

    The second - The Great Messenger Complex in the Adhamiya area. 

    The third - The central markets in the municipalities."
