The Energy Information Administration confirmed on Wednesday that inventories of crude oil, gasoline and distillates in the United States fell last week.
Crude inventories fell by 2.1 million barrels in the week ending September 15 to 418.5 million barrels, which was close to analysts’ expectations of a decline of 2.2 million.
The administration stated that crude oil inventories at the delivery center in Cushing, Oklahoma, decreased by 2.1 million barrels last week.
