SMC announces the killing of a terrorist detachment in Salah al-Din

    The Security Media Cell (SMC) announced On Monday, the killing of a terrorist detachment in Salah al-Din.

    A statement by the cell received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated: “With a qualitative operation based on accurate information from the Iraqi National Intelligence Service and with the coordination and planning of the targeting cell of the Joint Operations Command, the Air Falcons, using F_16 aircraft, carried out a successful air strike within the Salah al-Din sector on the border separating Kirkuk Governorate."

    The statement added, "The strike resulted in the killing of a terrorist detachment and the destruction of a den for terrorists and the weapons, ammunition, and equipment that were inside them."
