3.6 magnitude earthquake hits Maysan

The Ministry of Transportation announced on Monday that its seismic observatories recorded a seismic tremor in Maysan Province.
 
"The earthquake was recorded at exactly 11:24:5 of this day local time, and it had a magnitude of (3.6) degrees, as it is (3) km northwest of Ali Al-Gharbi from Maysan province," stated the ministry in a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency-INA.
 
The statement added," The residents in Ali Al-Gharbi district did not perceive the tremor”.
