Al-Waeli told the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "16 percent of pilgrims arriving in the country left through land and air ports."

The Ministry of Interior announced the entry of more than two million pilgrims to the country to perform the pilgrimage of the Arbaeen of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), through land ports and airports, noting that the process of transporting pilgrims is going well, except for some traffic accidents as a result of excessive speed.
