PM directs the preparation of a plan to develop the aviation sector

 Prime Minister, Mohamed Shia’ Al-Sudani, directed today, Wednesday, the preparation of a plan to develop the aviation sector.
 
 
The media office of the Prime Minister said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani, chaired a meeting dedicated to following up the transport projects in the federal general budget for the year 2023, attended by the Ministers of Planning, Transport and Finance and a number of advisors, undersecretaries and general managers in the concerned departments and authorities.
The statement added, "The meeting discussed the ministry's projects within the plan of the government program for the specified periods, and in light of the three-year budget, in proportion to presenting government priorities, the share of listing, financing, implementation, and distributing these projects among the governorates."
 
Al-Sudani directed, according to the statement, "to prepare a plan to develop the aviation sector and the Iraqi Airways Company, and to develop its specialized staff and service projects supporting it."
The statement concluded, "The meeting discussed a number of other service projects in the transport sector, and took the necessary measures in this regard."
