Bin Salman and Iranian FM review future opportunities for cooperation between Riyadh and Tehran

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman received Iranian Foreign Minister Hussein Amir Abdullahian in Jeddah.

Saudi "SPA" agency reported that the Minister of Foreign Affairs conveyed the greetings and appreciation of Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the Crown Prince, while the latter conveyed "the greetings and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and the greetings and appreciation of His Highness to His Excellency.".

During the meeting, they reviewed the relations between the Kingdom and the Islamic Republic of Iran, and future opportunities for cooperation between the two countries and ways to develop them, in addition to discussing developments in the situation on the regional and international arenas, and the efforts exerted towards them.

And it indicated that the meeting was attended by Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, while from the Iranian side, Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Reza Enayati, Director General of the Protocol Agency of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr.

It is noteworthy that Abdullahian arrived yesterday, Thursday, in Riyadh, on a visit at the invitation of his Saudi counterpart, where talks took place between the two parties, and then they held a joint press conference.
