Prime minister Mohamed Shia al-Sudani agreed on Friday with the First Deputy Speaker of the Parliament , Mohsin Al-Mandlawi, to speed up the implementation of budget items.
A statement by the media office of the First Deputy Speaker of the Parliament received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said that " the prime minister and Al-Mandelawi stressed the importance of continuing effective coordination between the legislative and executive authorities in order to speed up the enactment of sober laws of interest to the citizen and fully meet his requirements, and focus on laws encouraging economic and investment development, as well as the revitalization of industry and the creation of suitable job opportunities for young people.
The statement added that "Al-Mandelawi called for continued coordination between the legislative and executive authorities to contribute to the enactment of laws that concern the citizen and the development of the economy," stressing "the agreement to accelerate the application of the tripartite budget items, especially related to service and strategic projects and mechanisms of implementation and follow-up.
