Media Office of the Prime Minister stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency INA that Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani, received the Ambassador of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, Mr. Jihad Eddine Belkas.
The statement added that the Prime Minister emphasized the significance of Iraq-Algeria bilateral ties, the shared commitment to boosting collaboration across different domains, and the need to restart joint committee meetings.
Al-Sudani also highlighted that both nations align closely on numerous Arab and regional matters.
For his part, the Algerian Ambassador extended regards from Algerian President Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune and Prime Minister Mr. Aymen Benabderrahmane to His Excellency.
He also reaffirmed Algeria's commitment to enhancing ties and cooperation across diverse areas between the two friendly countries.
