Sayyed Al-Hakim praises adopting crimes of dictatorship era in university curriculum

The head of the National Wisdom Movement, Sayyed Ammar al-Hakim, praised on Thursday the adoption of the crimes of the dictatorship era in the university curriculum.

Sayyed Al-Hakim said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "a step in the right direction was taken by the Ministry of higher education and scientific research, represented by its intention to adopt the crimes of the dictatorship era within its curriculum in public and private universities for all specialties.

He added: "While we appreciate this right National step, we hope that it will be expanded to include the sacrifices made by our Iraqi people in the path of freedom and democracy after the change at the hands of al-Qaeda and ISIS terrorism, and we urge the Ministry of education to take the same initiative to perpetuate the exploits of our people and prevent them from being erased from the memory of current and future generations..
