Najaf Governor: The arrival of the priorities of the path of development

    The Governor of Najaf, Majed Al-Waeli, announced today, Friday, the arrival of the technical priorities for the development road section within the administrative borders of the province.

    Al-Waeli said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Through continuous follow-up and official correspondence with the Ministry of Transport and the relevant authorities, we demanded that we be provided with a bag of the project section within the governorate, which includes plans and paths for the railway and land road of the development road, to proceed with the steps of surveying, preparing and fixing the size of the conflicts.".

    And expropriation, and the technical assistant to the governor (R.M.Haider Al-Mayali) to attend a meeting chaired by the Minister of Transport, during which the latter clarified the governorate’s request to start the project within its administrative borders. To the province of Najaf Al-Ashraf to complete the administrative and technical requirements necessary to carry out the work of the project, as stated in his speech, “We seek to achieve great benefits for Najaf through this project, and it will not be a road for traffic only, because there are many advantages, including the presence of the largest industrial cities in the country near this road in addition to the size Economic and commercial expansion and growth in Najaf.

    Al-Waeli stressed, according to the statement, "the governorate's readiness to cooperate with the executing company in preparing all the necessary capabilities and requirements for the implementation of the road section that passes through Najaf Governorate.".

    The statement continued, "The path that starts from the large port of Faw and its integration with the region's ports to the Turkish border, feasibility studies, results of work with advisory bodies, the implementation timetable, the financial returns it provides, and data related to all its details were reviewed."
