Ministry of oil: Iraqi Drilling Company completes the oil well Nasiriyah / 60

The Ministry of Oil announced today, Friday, the completion of drilling of the Nasiriyah /60 oil well.

A ministry statement received by the Iraqi News Agency(INA) said that" the technical and engineering staff at the Iraqi Drilling Company completed the drilling operations of the Nasiriyah /60 oil well with a depth of 2110 meters, as part of the work of the project for the contract concluded with Dhi Qar Oil Company, which includes drilling 20 oil wells in the Nasiriyah oil field, in cooperation with Weatherford oil services company.

"The drilling operations were carried out using the IDC 46 drilling rig with a horsepower of 1000, which is the Fourteenth well completed by the company within this contract," it added.

"The company owns 43 drilling and reclamation rigs, including 30 modern rigs with a capacity ranging from 500 to 3000 horsepower, extending its work area along the geographical area from North to South," it added.
